Welcome to the Enterprise Amateur Radio Society Website
EARS members are located all over Coffee and Dale Counties and meet to further Amateur Radio in the local area.
Some information on what the club does for the community:
- We prepare for emergency support of Coffee County. (For instance tornado's and hurricanes.)
- We support community events that need communication between locations. (Like the Wounded Warrior Bike Ride.)
- By providing routine testing to become an Amateur Operator. See the list of new calls in the area.
- Our group is working on a syllabus and providing assistance for new operators who need more support setting up and understanding how to operate their stations.
- The club also maintains a 2-meter repeater to facilitate communication between portable and mobile devices in the local area.
- 147.240 + no tone required, an open repeater.
- Feel free to use it when you like.
